Experience the magic of cinema under the stars
Everything you need to know about our outdoor cinema experiences
You are welcome to bring your own picnic and snacks to all Adventure Cinema events. Please check your venue information for specific details on whether alcohol is permitted. Glass is not permitted at any venue, so please ensure all food and drink is brought in non-glass containers.
Food, snacks, soft drinks and a bar will be available at most events and we recommend bringing cash as not all vendors will take card payments.
We will always ask our traders to cater for all dietaries, but if you have specific requirements, it is advisable to bring a little something along with you, just in case there isn't something suitable at the event.
No BBQs are allowed on site.
All of our ticketing is done electronically so you will not be sent a physical ticket. You can print out your e-tickets if you like but we advise saving the paper and loading the tickets on your phone or tablet to be scanned at the ticket tent on entrance.
Unless you have purchased a Premium or Director's View ticket, you will need to bring your own seating.
A Premium ticket includes a luxury deckchair in a prime position.
Director's View tickets include a front row director's chair, and a blanket and Adventure Cinema treat bag.
Please note that premium and director's tickets are priced the same for adults and children.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online only. Our events sell out quickly so book your tickets while you still can.
All of our events are outdoor and will go ahead in the event of rain. Please check the forecast on the day of the screening and come prepared for the conditions. If it does rain we just need to call upon the Great British spirit, dress accordingly, and live for the moment!
Our team closely monitor weather forecasts in the lead up to our shows and should there ever be any concern regarding the weather, we will inform all ticket holders by email/text but otherwise it can be assumed that shows will be going ahead as planned.
All events are held on short grass and will have accessible toilet facilities. Please make sure to check the specific venue page for your event for more information on access. Should you need assistance at the event, please make yourselves known to our friendly stewards and they will be happy to help.
We offer a complimentary standard ticket for a carer to attend. Please email contact@adventurecinema.co.uk with your order number and we will issue the complimentary carer's ticket. Please note, this does not apply to premium tickets and identification may be required upon entry.
Our staff may ask for proof of age for age restricted films. Please bring official photo ID with your date of birth, such as a passport, driving licence or student card.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Children under 2 go free and do not need a ticket.
For The Gruffalo shows and Bing and His Friends at the Cinema, children under 1 go free but still require a ticket. All other ages will need a valid ticket.
Film classifications always apply and we may refuse entry to anyone who is underage or unaccompanied.

Tents and gazebos are not permitted as they block the view for others and can be a hazard in high winds.
We always try to select venues that are either centrally located or have plenty of on-site parking. Please read the venue page for your event before attending for venue specific information.
Smoking is not allowed within the seating areas for the comfort of our guests. This includes e-cigs and vapes. We usually designate a smoking area away from the audience area but some locations do stipulate no smoking on any part of the grounds. Please be considerate of others and abide by this rule.
We understand the weather can be unpredictable, so small umbrellas are fine to bring along. However, parasols and large umbrellas that block the view of other guests are not permitted. Please position umbrellas thoughtfully so you do not obstruct anyone's view of the screen. We recommend rain macs or ponchos instead, so you can stay dry and enjoy the film hands-free!
